It's Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer...in a block!
For the first time ever, I bought the Quiltmaker's 100 Blocks magazine.
It was so fun to see some of my favorite blogger's blocks in there!
One of them was Lorna from Sew Fresh Quilts with her reindeer block...too cute!
I finished Rudolph, but there are still eight more reindeer blocks to go...
"You know Dasher and Dancer, and Prancer and Vixen; Comet and Cupid, and Donner and Blitzen."
With Thanksgiving coming, I think I'll wait to finish the rest until the turkey and stuffing are eaten.
Speaking of Thanksgiving...
Carla at Creatin' in the Sticks made this cute pot holder using one block from my row pattern.
She said I could share her photo here. Thanks, Carla!
This would look great on the Thanksgiving table. So sweet!
Oh, and I've been busy doing a little baking.
Oh it is that time of the year. We got our first snow yesterday here in the south of Sweden. It is cold outside and a lovely time for sewing. I love Lorna´s design and her reindeer is so cute. Have a great week
ReplyDeleteI bought the Quiltmaker's Magazine for that block specifically because it is just too cute also! Carla's little pumpkin is fabulous.
ReplyDeleteWail...they didn't have the magazine on my last shopping trip...I have the others so hope to find it yet this week ;) Your reindeer is very cute! I think it sounds great to make a whole team of them!
ReplyDeleteOh what a lovely reindeer block.
ReplyDeleteHo, ho, ho! Yes, that wee Rudolph is a super sweet block you made there, Carol. You chose such cute fabrics for him. And that little pumpkin pot holder by Carla is equally beautiful. Wishing you and yours a very wonderful Thanksgiving!
