It's A "Cookie Girl Christmas" - It's Here!

Update: It's Here!
It's available at Amazon as a digital book HERE.
You don't have to have a Kindle...I have a Kindle App on my iPad so I can read it.

I like to read and I like to eat cookies...really, I do!

A long, long time ago I knew a sweet young girl who's smile would brighten any room she entered.
She was kind, loving, beautiful, and so, so smart...definitely one of my favorites!

Christene's no longer the little girl I once knew, but a grown-up lovely women who
is a wife, a mother, and the author of a book called, "A Heart So Broken."

But, wait!
She's written a NEW book and it's arriving as an e-book just in time for Christmas!

"Molly Hayes has one more job before Christmas and then she can put her plans for a storefront
bakery of her own in motion. What she doesn't bargain for is the handsome young Scrooge who
insults her cookies and makes her blood boil. Toss in a heaping helping of snowstorm and a pinch of
romantic old Inn and you've got yourself the perfect recipe for a not-so-silent-night."

It will be available as an e-book on December 5th...I can't wait!
(I'll share the link as soon as it is available.)

Christene will have some of Molly's favorite recipes in the book, but this is one she shared on her
Facebook page that would certainly make your whole house smell like Christmas!
(I'm sure the Monkey Boys would love to make these!)

Homemade Cinnamon Ornaments
1 c. cinnamon
3/4 cup applesauce
In a bowl, mix the cinnamon and applesauce into a dough like consistency.
If it’s too thin add more cinnamon or vice versa.
Knead the dough together into a ball, then roll flat with a rolling pin.
Using cookie cutters, cut out shapes and place on a parchment lined cookie sheet.
Using a drinking straw, make holes at the top of each ornament.
Place in a 350 degree oven for 2 hours or until completely dry.
Keep an eye on them so they don’t burn.
When they are completely cooled, string with ribbon or an ornament hook.

Congratulations, Christene, on another wonderful book!
