Blog Hops, Blog Hops, And Did I Say Blog Hops

My wicked and wild blog hop co-hostess, Joan from Moosestash Quilting, and I decided that we'd share our blog hop challenges earlier than usual to give you more time to sew your projects. With summer fun, vacations, family visits, back to school shopping, etc., etc., etc., we hope this will help you feel more creative. Our blog hops are meant to make you feel happy not overwhelmed!

You don't have to sign-up for the all the blog hops right now, but you can if you want to. We will still announce them two months before they are happening.

What is a blog hop? It's like an online "show and tell" or quilt guild without leaving home. 

We post a challenge on our blogs and those who want to join in email us with their blog info. 

After we get that info, we assign them a date to post their project. 

We inspire each other with projects, tutorials, or patterns. Anyone can follow along!

THE CHALLENGE:

Sew something that you wouldn't normally sew or share something you can't believe you sewed.

We all know that crazy and scary feeling of wondering what we were thinking when 

we started or were in the middle of sewing something out of our comfort zone.

THE CHALLENGE:

Sew your project with dog themed fabric or applique/embroidery of dogs.

As an added challenge if dogs don't ring your bell, think vintage.

Vintage blocks, quilts, fabrics, or whatever old designs makes you happy.

THE CHALLENGE:

Being that this one is in November, think turkeys, thankfulness, or Thanksgiving fabric.

November also means the beautiful colors of fall, so sew something with oranges,

golds, browns, greens, or cranberry reds.
