I'm definitely not very good at this, because I miss a lot of Thursdays. LeeAnna at
pushing it to not miss this Thursday. I actually love this idea of LeeAnna!
There was Christmas in Las Vegas with the family.
We love to play the plastic wrap ball on Christmas Eve.
Money, candy, and toys are wrapped up in this nine pound ball of fun.
Monkey Baby wasn't liking that it wasn't his turn.
Always Starbucks with my oldest daughter and Monkey Boys...it's a tradition.
Always a mess, but a good mess

This was an entertaining gift...lol!
They light up when you shake them...he love them!
We got Monkey Boy number 2 a guitar.
He loved it!
Always a mess, but a good mess
I like being there for birthdays!
I ordered more of these labels for my quilts.
They are easy and slip into the binding on the back of the quilt.
I order them from Inked Papers Etsy store.
I like that Britt-Inger thought I should be in her Swedish quilt newsletter.
I thought the whole newsletter was beautiful!
Britt-Inger gave me this years ago and I like that I have this memory.
It's so sweet and sits out every Christmas.
I like that I had room to drag my sewing things into the living room
so that I could clean and organize my sewing room.
I don't like all the work, though!
Thanks for stopping by!
I just read your latest posts. What an array of beautiful blocks! Sounds like you had a wonderful Christmas. Having kids around is so much fun. Hope 2020 is a great one!😀
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year Carol.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed reading this. Life is good.
all of my sewing is in my sun room. I am tempted to do a full empty out and cleaning organizing.
Maybe next snow storm.....
You are blessed.❤️ Both of us are. I offer my very best wishes to you and yours for a very happy wonderful and healthy new year.
I've played that game - it's pretty fun and a great idea for a family game at Christmas. I don't like the sewing room cleanup either, but it feels oh so good when it's done! Happy New Year to you, Carol!
ReplyDeleteSo many things to be thankful for! Wow, the MonkeyBoys are getting so grown up!
ReplyDeleteHi Carol! Love, love, LOVE this post. All the fun times recorded for us to see. Monkey Baby was NOT happy at all that it wasn't his turn. That will be a fun picture to share at his graduation or some other event in the future. HAHA! It makes my heart happy to see all this fun and smiles on everyone's face. And a birthday event over the holidays too. Congrats on the Swedish newsletter! Woot woot! ~smile~ Roseanne
ReplyDeleteEnjoy seeing your boys grow up. Beautiful family. What size labels did you order for your quilts? Nice looking.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun family times. Those are great memories for the boys, too. I'm going to have to do what you did with the sewing room, and I'm afraid I won't get it all back in. LOL
ReplyDeleteHi Carol... so so sorry I didn't realize you did a post! I LOVED it. I love seeing family traditions and joyful times. I might have to just print out some labels to put in bindings now, how smart. I'm going right now to add in your post and watch out, I am going to let your name ride in the links, but at the bottom in case you can't get to a Like post that week. Or you can always remind me to add you back in. No pressure ever! I'm always glad to come see what you write and share!
ReplyDeleteHappy new year, Love LeeAnna
