Elephants In The Riley Blake Designs Designer Flannels Blog Tour

I can't think of anything more cozy and sweet than to snuggle up in a warm flannel blanket,
especially when it is as soft and beautiful as Riley Blake Designs designer flannels.
It's definitely a perfect cuddle fabric to use in a quilt or pajamas!

Elmer and Ema are little quilts for any toddler as they measure 26" x 36"
without counting the ears or paws. Just right for dragging around!

Elmer

Ema

I used two different flannel fabrics for Elmer and Ema:
Flannel Jungle Animals in blue and Flannel Kisses in orange.

Confetti Cottons are always a great addition to any quilt, including this one.
The eyes, ears, trunks, and paws are all made with Confetti Cottons.

Elmer has red suspenders with big buttons

Ema has a flower on her top...

...and a little ruffled skirt

Elmer and Ema are so easy to make!
You can find the patterns for both of them in my Etsy store HERE.

The Riley Blake Designs blog has a ton of amazing projects and inspiration!

I love using Heat n Bond EZ Print Sheets for my applique. No tracing!

I'm so glad you stopped by to see my elephants in the Jungle Animals flannel!

  7. Seriously, Carol. Are you just trying to give me additional projects to work on? Does EVERYTHING you share lately have to strike a cord in me whereby I think I just h.a.v.e. to make it? This project is just So darn cute. I can really see my little Dominic wrapping those legs around himself. Oh so sweet. I'm PINning this one for the future. Probably the very near future. Thanks. No really, thanks. ~smile~ Roseanne
