Block Three For Therm O Web's Halloween Sew Along

I hope you've had a chance to visit the Therm O Web blog to get the free block patterns
for the Halloween "Chills and Thrills Sew Along." Therm O Web is releasing one block a
day for four days and a finished project to use the blocks on September 24th. Each applique
block is unfinished at 10 1/2" x 10 1/2". Be sure to go get "Frankie" and "The Count" HERE.

Today's block is “Wanda Witch” who looks a little wickedly crazy!
You can find "Wanda Witch" on the Therm O Web blog HERE.

Supplies I used:

Heat n Bond EZ Print Lite Sheets – You’ll love these for applique because they are so easy.
Just run the sheets through your inkjet printer and they are ready for ironing on your fabric.

Aurifil Thread – This thread is amazing for sewing. The applique blocks in these projects were
sewn using 28 wt thread, but 40wt or 50wt works, too. Use the 50wt thread for sewing seams.

Oliso Iron – The newest iron by Oliso is their Mini Project Iron.
It’s perfect for any ironing project!

  1. Such a lovely studious witch! Perfect companion to the first two blocks. I liked the purple Oliso iron!

  2. Wanda sure looks like she can hold her own against Frankie and the Count. I am eager to see who completes the group.

  3. I'm so flattered that you used me for a block! hahahahaha
Did I sign a waiver??? Halloween rocks!

Comments are always appreciated!
