Therm O Web has a Halloween sew along starting today called "Chills and Thrills"...so exciting!
Over the next four days they'll be releasing one free block a day for you to sew and
then on September 24th there will be a project to sew them into to. I hope you'll join
in the fun! I designed all four blocks this time and I'm so happy to share them with you!
Today's free block release is "Frankie." He's an unfinished 10 1/2" x 10 1/2" block.
“Frankie” looks a little zapped
right now, but don’t be
fooled…he’s totally ready for some Halloween fun!
Applique blocks and project supplies:
Heat
n Bond EZ Print Lite Sheets – You’ll love these for applique
because they are so easy.
Just run the sheets through your inkjet printer and
they are ready for ironing on your fabric.
Aurifil Thread – This
thread is amazing for sewing. The applique blocks in these projects were
sewn
using 28 wt thread, but 40wt or 50wt works, too. Use the 50wt thread for sewing
seams.
Wonderful pattern. Halloween is my favorite time to decorate...can't wait to see the next one in this series. Thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteGee, aren't you busy enough with everything else? :) I am really looking forward to these 4 blocks as I need many more Halloween projects lol.
ReplyDeleteFrankie is a favourite of mine and your block is adorable. Actually, he looks a bit like a punk rocker.
Your designs are always so fun!
ReplyDeleteFrankie is so fabulous. I'm afraid I look a little like Frankie this week, "zapped". Love the block, my friend.
ReplyDeleteHe is so awesome and the same way cute. We don't celebrate Halloween so much in Sweden but I love to see your projects
ReplyDeleteVery cool love it ty for sharing...happyness04431@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteWhat a great block!
ReplyDeleteOh how fun! Thank you so very much for doing this.
ReplyDeleteHe is absolutely awesome!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHe's the perfect thing for Halloween! I could see him finished as a door hanger, and there's plenty of time to do that. I like to have things hanging on my front door all year. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the pattern
ReplyDeleteCute Frankie block! I was here looking for the My Favorite Quilt Block Blog Hop. I don't see any mention of that. :o((
