My Day For The Benartex Home Grown Blog Hop

Benartex has a new line of fabric, Home Grown by Nancy Halvorsen, that is so beautiful.
I feel so lucky to have been able to join this blog hop and sew with Home Grown!

It has a panel with the cutest designs and sayings on them, too.  I used four of the sections
of the panel in my quilt , 20 fat quarters, and two different fabrics for borders and binding.

Shine, Love, Create
Quilt measures 42" x 52"

The panel

The fat quarters and yardage I used

Birds, houses, and flowers...cute!

Such a pretty heart of flowers in this panel!

  4. Carol, that is such a cute quilt! What a fun panel to work with. You’ve cut it apart and put your quilt together wonderfully and creatively. The pinwheels and daisys are perfect space fillers with the panel blocks. That panel has great messages.

  52. Your version of the panel quilt is inspiring. I recently began sewing with a group, Comfort Quilts, in my area. Several of the ladies are real pros at using panels. Everyone brought a panel to the yearly celebration luncheon which was then used in a game and turned in as finished quilts at the next monthly gathering. This new panel from Benertex would be great for the group's target audiences of Ronald McDonald House and local hospice sites.
