I'm so lucky to have many, many blogger friends who inspire me with all the things they make.
They are my "diamonds" because of all the brightness they add to my life.
This blog hop is for all of you who want to "Be A Diamond" and inspire someone else.
So...what are the rules of the "Be A Diamond" blog hop?
The blog hop rules
are simple:
Make a project with a diamond block on it (samples below.)
It can be a mug rug, pot holder, mini quilt, baby quilt, bag, etc.

I did a search in my EQ8 for diamond blocks and found several. I hadn't thought of the
square in a square being a diamond, but it is! Here's a few I found:

I love blog hops which motivate me with a deadline to finish a project I love!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the fun Carol!
Carol,
ReplyDeleteYou must be reading my mind :-) I am playing with a design in EQ8 with diamonds and I am almost done with the final design. This blog hop is at just the right time to motivate me to finish the quilt.
I will email you my details.
Vasudha
I wanted to add that your graphic for the bloghop itself will make a great quilt pattern.
ReplyDeleteI'll join!
ReplyDeleteI love Diamonds. April is my birthday month, and that is the birthstone. I am in.
ReplyDeleteI need to think a bit longer about this one Carol. When is the deadline to join?
ReplyDeleteSo glad you included those sample blocks. I mentally see something like mariners compass when I think diamonds. Then panic. I can do squares on point even if it means turning my piece on end. I'm in. Going to send into now.
ReplyDeleteSounds like fun, Carol. It will force me to finish a diamond quilt in the works. Count me in.
ReplyDeleteYou know I'm in. Your button is amazing. I meant to tell you earlier...
ReplyDeleteHello! I just heard about this blog hop from a friend who said I should join. Mainly because I just inherited a huge pile of diamonds that I need to make something with! Is it too late to join?
