Okay, I'll admit it...I have unfinished projects. Shocking, right!
The truth is, I actually have a lot of them.
Along comes Patty from Elm Street Quilts with her One Monthly Goal challenge.
I'm late to her party (as usual) but I'm hoping to finish something this month.
I won the Moda Color Daze Batiks by Laundry Basket Quilts from
Soma at Whims & Fancies last year and started putting this together in February.
After the MIL fell, it slowly got pushed to the back of the design wall because of
other deadline projects and trips back-and-forth to take care of her.
I want to finish it. The fabrics are beautiful and it's so close to being done.
So, Patty, I'm in with this one.
I'm crossing my fingers that I'll make your end of the month deadline.
Go Carol Go!! You can do it! :)
ReplyDeleteLife throws us curve balls some times. Once things get back to some kind of normal, you'll get after those projects. This one is beautiful. Love those batiks!
ReplyDeleteLovely you can do it. Once you get going again it feels so good to finish even something small.
ReplyDeleteYou've been thrown a lot of curveballs lately, but you always meet your deadlines. I have no doubt this will be a finish. Heck, you probably did this post and finished it this morning... It's a sweet quilt.
ReplyDeleteI love these batiks too....you got this! Have fun!
ReplyDeleteI have no doubts you will finish this quilt. Lovely Batik fabrics and the hearts are precious. Happy Safe Fourth of July...<3
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to see you jumping back in with both feet. You'll geter done I'm sure.
ReplyDeleteCarol, my money's on you to finish this and I know it will be awesome! Thanks for linking up with Elm Street Quilts One Monthly Goal and good luck on your project.
ReplyDeleteCarol, thank you for your shocking confession.
ReplyDeleteThis is a pretty quilt indeed. Thanks for the update, get back to work.
