Christmas Gifts Are In The Air

If they're not in the air,
maybe the Christmas gifts are in the back of a truck or have already arrived at their destination.

Either way,
THEY ARE COMING AND GOING!

The T'was the Night Blog Hop had lots of us getting Christmas presents ready
to send all over the world very, very, very early...like in October!

I've never mailed a Christmas gift this early!
On November 11th we'll get to see some amazing gifts we can make in just one evening.

Madame Samm at Sew We Quilt has the scoop about T'was the Night on her blog HERE,
and Marlene at Stitchin' by the Lake is the workshop cheerleader/elf for all of us.

I know, I know, it's only November, but with a big SWOOSH, we'll all be saying,
"What happened to November?" and scrambling to get ready for Christmas.
I'm already on it with a little Monkey Boy gift sewing in the works.

Are you an Early Shopping/Sewing Elf or are you like my husband who says,
"Let's just wait and go shopping at Walgreen's on Christmas Eve."
(Really, he said this!)

  1. One year we waited until boxing day..took our money and then shopped for exactly what we wanted. LOL I so often worked Christmas day with my son growing up...Santa even found us in a hotel room one year just so we could do Christmas morning before we all went our separate ways...

  2. I make quilty things for the choosen few and write checks or get the requested gift cards for the rest. Such as MJ gets his annual pass to Disney World and my sister will get, well she'll get a quilty gift and a gift card to a favorite restaurant (she's special).

  3. I'm definitely in the early shopping bunch. I like to do a lot of decorating and just can't do that and shop too. Hate shopping, love making gifts, but hate shopping.
