Take A Ride To Santa Claus Lane In Riley Blake Designs Blog Tour

It's always a toss up which I love the most, Christmas or Halloween, and it usually comes down to loving them both about the same. Riley Blake Designs never disappoints with fabric designs from both holidays, including the new "Santa Claus Lane" by Melissa Mortenson of Polka Dot Chair. It's 100 percent cotton and great for quilting, apparel and home decor.

It even has the cutest Christmas stocking panel with applique Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus!

Santa is such a good guy for taking his sweet wife on a date!

Rudolph is a wonderful escort for date night with Mr. and Mrs. Claus.

Candy canes, flowers, and strings of lights...so fun!

Riley Blake Designs Confetti Cottons blend perfectly with "Santa Claus Lane" fabric.

There's Santa...love the mint color!

The wind was totally out of control during picture taking, but it did show off the back where it was pieced with leftover "Santa Claus Lane" fabric.

How sweet is that striped fabric! It is just the cutest and is perfect next to those candy canes.

"Santa Claus Lane" is a great combo of fabric for any Christmas project!

Fly me to the moon, Santa!

"Midnight Ride With Mrs. Claus" is a free pattern this week...you can find it HERE

You can find this sweet line of fabric at Fat Quarter Shop HERE. *Affiliate link

It's always a pleasure to have you visit...thanks for stopping by!

P.S. Creepy Bunny was so happy to be unboxed after the move!

Enter Just Let Me Quilt If U Dare

Just Let Me Quilt is definitely ready for the Seams To Be Sew
Enter if U Dare Blog Hop!
I love, love, love Halloween!
Thanks, Marian, for hosting this blog hop!

I've been in a bit of a Dreaded Dresden mood lately so this project was perfect for me.
Creepy Bunny agreed with my choice of using the Dresden Neighborhood Quilt Pattern by Persimon Dreams that I'd seen on display at my favorite store, Quilted Works.
They'd added ghosts and Halloween fabrics...we loved it!

 Ghostly Dresden Neighborhood

It works great as a table topper or a wall hanging.

This guy is scaring everyone in the neighborhood...he looks a bit hungry for body parts.

There's great giveaways going on, too!
Fat Quarter Shop and Timeless Treasures are so generous!

This is the Dresden tool I used...find it HERE.

Halloween Time And A Lucky Hobbs Batting Winner

It's Halloween time...I love this time of year!

So does Creepy Bunny.

He loves to get all decked out in his costume and even posed in front of my new quilt cabinet.

My hubby and I walked into a thrift store and saw the cabinet of my dreams (or close to it.)
Perfect size. Perfect price (cheap.)
Perfect for my quilts that have been waiting for a place to be stored.

Definitely not fancy, but totally shows my quilts.
I love the chicken wire!

There's a winner for the Hobbs batting...lucky Laura!
I've emailed her for info on where to mail that luscious Hobbs wool batting.

My Quilt Taffy gift certificate giveaway is still going on HERE.
Don't miss your chance to win $20 to shop!

The Dog Gone Cute blog hop is still howling away. Check out all the pups on display!

Creepy Bunny vs Black Cats

Creepy Bunny was feeling a little jealous because of all the attention the black cats have been
getting, so he dressed himself up in a silly costume in an attempt to get people to look at him
instead of all the amazing creations being shown during the Black Cat Crossing blog hop.

Not happening Creepy Bunny!

Every single creation in this hop has been so wickedly SPOOKTACULAR!

Creepiness Runs In My Family

I've been called "Creepy Carol" by Wicked Wendy and that Comanche Lady, plus
That Other Lady is well aware of my love of creepy and fully supports my creepiness.

Creepy Bunny with the Creepy Purple Spider mug...see, I told you he would love it!

My sister likes creepy, too, which was confirmed when she called me yesterday and said,

"Carol, hurry and bring your camera over!
There's a spider on a web in my backyard!"

Of course, I ran right over!

It was just a garden spider, so there's was no danger it would jump on me (I was hoping it wouldn't), because I got up close and personal with this yellow and black striped arachnophobia-causing thing.

My sister had some flowers blooming and since I was already there with my camera..

More creepiness is coming soon!

Jeepers Creepers Is It Halloween Yet?

I sew a lot slower these days, but it is really a nice change. There were times I was whipping out 7-9 projects a month. Way too much! Now ...
