It's A Shark Quilt!

I'd made a shark quilt a while back using Riley Blake Design fabric and it
was quite a hit for a cute boy I know, but he wanted a bigger one in the same fabric.
He helped design it and drew a label for me to add.

It's A Shark!

We took a trip to "Grandpa's Pond" in Hurricane, Utah, to take photos.

I love the quilting by Quilted Works!

I added some applique to the label he drew and stitched his signature.
Yes, it took me since January to get this totally put together, but at least I finished it!

I think he'll be a happy boy to know I finally finished his quilt.

  10. What a lucky boy. You did a fabulous job. So many great details from the applique, to the fabrics, to the "teeth" and that great label.

  13. Oh, finally my google/blogger sign in is fixed! I saw this quilt a couple of days ago or so but was not able to comment. So frustrating! What an adorable quilt. And a fabulous label. I’ll bet the little guy is splash happy. The quilting is great. Better done 10 months later than never done at all.

  14. It is adorable! He has a future in quilt design. =) I mentioned Hurricane to some friends from TN last week, and they'd never heard of it. I thought that was so odd! But they didn't grow up in Arizona, so I simply enlightened them on what a great place it is.
