Halloween is just plain creepy and fun, especially when creative people get together
to show off their spooky projects. Thank you, Marian at Seams To Be Sew, for
making it easy to share our creepiness with all of you in the Peek A Who Blog Hop!
Today is my day to share!
The Ghastlies have always been one of my favorite fabrics during Halloween,
though they are pretty cool for any time of the year. I fell in love with the pink skirt
girl because she totally reminds me of my sister, Susan, who is cute on the outside
but wickedly crazy like me on the inside. In runs in our family!
I only used three of my Ghastlie fabrics for this quilt and paper pieced the center block.
I enlarged this block to 18" x 18" to paper piece it. You can right click on it to save
it to your own pattern stash if you want to give it a try. It's very easy!
The border fabric of dueling Ghastlies has so much detail in it, as do all the Ghastlie fabrics.
I love them all!
This Halloween season has had me sewing a quite a few other things.
Some of you have already seen them, but in case you haven't...

Sew Sew much fun... what's really cool too is those creepy hands holding it and the spider on the side, then what looks like a dinosaur on the bottom. I love it!!! Great use of fun objects to surround your quilt in. I really love this project. Thanks so much for participating today and my sincerest apologies for not getting around to the blogs sooner this week. It's really been I think my busiest week of the year thus far.

I do enjoy paper piecing, but it's something I need to keep working on consistently or my work gets sloppy. It's time to start practicing it again and your pattern will be a fun one to make! Happy Halloween to you and your boos!
ReplyDeleteMs. Winifred's Closet is just so cool!
