Christmas Is Over Already?

This happens every year.
For at least a month I am shopping, baking, and planning and then "POOF"
it's Christmas Day and I still have more things I want to do.

But, dang it....

What the heck!
I had more shopping and baking to do!

Even without more presents and cookies, it was great to be with all my family
and no one was left wanting or needing anything else.

There were pictures taken.

New Christmas outfits to be worn.

And trees to be undecorated by Monkey Baby.

I hope you enjoyed your family and friends during this special time,
reminisced about the good times and remembered those who aren't with us anymore,
and of course, ate lots of wonderful food and desserts.

With wrapping paper to clean-up and laundry to do...I think I'll just go sew!
There's a whole stash of fabric just waiting for me to cut it up and put it back together.

I'm looking forward to seeing what all of you will be sewing and blogging about in 2014!
There is sure to be lots of blog hopping, linky parties, and just plain creative madness ahead.

  1. Ha ha! my tree(s) are undecorated too from 4ft and down, then the DOG got into the main tree and some of the bottom branches fell off too, so it looked like the charlie brown tree for a few days :) Merry Christmas Carol!!

  2. I know that "I'm Not Ready" feeling well because I keep adding to my getting ready for Christmas list right up to Christmas morning. Monkey baby looks like he loves tree decorating His Way! My little grandson cookie monster kept trying to get into the forbidden territory of the kitchen. That's where we stashed The Christmas Cookies! I'm glad you had a Merry Christmas.
