Blog Hops, Sew Alongs, And Blocks Of The Month

There's always something going on in my blog world and I love it when you
are a part of those happenings. There are some creative blog hops, sew alongs, and
blocks of the month coming up and I'd love to have you join in with me!

This month is Show Your Wings hosted by me. The challenge is to make a project
with some sort of wings on it...flying geese blocks, birds, ducks, fairies, etc.
Once a block hop is announced, it's usually a little over two months to finish something.
The blog hops fill up fast and this one is already full with some amazing people.
I can't wait to see their "wings"!

In case you haven't noticed, Carla at Creatin' in the Sticks and I alternate months for blog hops.
She is so creative and comes up with some really fun hops to join like the latest one that's
taking sign-ups right now. Visit HERE if you want to join in...you know you want to!
Carla has a few openings left.

All About Strings Blog Hop

There's a Valentine Sew Along happening at ThermOWeb and it's free! Four designers created
four blocks for you to sew. On February 14th we'll be releasing four projects to use those blocks.
They are cute blocks...don't miss out! Amy at Ameroonie Designs, Amy at Sew Incredibly Crazy,
Carla at Creatin' in the Sticks, and me, too, are the designers for this sew along.

Click HERE for my post on where to get the links for each of these blocks.
One of the highlights of my blogging world is the yearly block of the month with
Sew Incredibly Crazy. This year's theme is A Time For All Seasons and the first block has
already been released. It's off to an amazing start! I'm so lucky to design and hang out with
these ladies...Amy from Sew Incredibly Crazy, Carla from Creatin' in the Sticks, and
Joan from Moosestash Quilting. I just love all of them and admire what they do!
You can join in, too, and we'd love to have you.

I've got a blog hop in the works for April and will be releasing info on that in a week or so.
It will get you creating for sure!

There's A New Block Of The Month Happening In 2019

I'm totally excited about Sew Incredibly Crazy's new block of the month,
A Time For All Seasons, and can't wait to get started on the blocks!

There are four designers and we're having so much fun being creative.
They are the bestest friends ever and I am so glad they are a part of my life.
We've blogged together for a long, long, long time and I love them to pieces!

Amy at Sew Incredibly Crazy is the queen of the BOM and keeps all of us in line.
Her designs are awesome and she's one of my favorite go-to friends.
She gets my craziness and cheers me on when I need it most.

Carla at Creatin In The Sticks is amazing with all of her designs.
Fortunately for me (and for everyone else) she keeps me focused and sane.
She's also my partner in blog hop hosting and I couldn't do them without her.

Joan at Moosestash Quilting is a great designer and adds humor to this group.
She makes me laugh and you'll know what I mean if you visit her blog.
You'll always find a moose somewhere in our blocks...love it!

Then there's me, Carol at Just Let Me Quilt, but you already figured that out I'm sure.
Being a part of this BOM design team has been a beautiful experience.
The people who've sewn along with us have inspired me and kept me motivated.
Thanks to all of you!

I'm still working on getting the 2018 "It's A Wild Life" quilt finished. It was an unusually
rough year for all of us designers, and I've been running behind. I don't like that at all!

Here's the BOM quilts from the last few years...

There's a Facebook page where everyone shares what they've made and can ask questions.
Check it out HERE.

We'd love to have you LIKE our Facbook pages so we can get to know you better.

The finished blocks will be seasonal/holiday and will all be the same size...10" x 10".
I've seen some of the blocks already...wow!
