Riley Blake Designs "Down On The Farm" Project Tour

I'm more of a city girl, but there's a bit of me that would love to hang out on a farm for a few days to pet a horse, cow, or lamb. Just pet them, not clean up after them. The new Riley Blake Designs fabric line, "Down on the Farm" is as close as I'll get to a farm right now. I'm good with that because it is so cute!

Creating a project is easy with this sweet fabric! "It's A Farm Life" has little chicks running amok on the farm and having a good time. The baby quilt is 42" x 42" with both applique and piecing.

"It's A Farm Life", 42" x 42"

Down on the Farm by Doodlebug Design Inc. for Riley Blake Designs is 100 percent cotton and is great for quilting, apparel and home decor.

Look at all the pigs, cows, goats, dogs...it's kind of an "I Spy" fabric!

I used four of the Riley Blake Designs "Down on the Farm" fabrics: Chicken Wire White, Bandana Red, Chicken Wire Yellow, and Farm Animals Blue.

A few farm animals and stars...

I love that bandana fabric and that chicken wire is just the cutest!

Seriously, such adorable animals in this fabric!

You can find the pattern for "It's A Farm Life" HERE.

I love using EZ Print Lite Sheets by ThermOWeb for my applique...no tracing! Just print in your inkjet printer and your designs are ready.

  2. Hi Carol! Oh geez, another really cute fabric line from Riley Blake. I love the quilt you are sharing today. The faces on the cow, pig, sheep, and chicken are so darn expressive! And that red bandana fabric makes me swoon. Thanks for sharing with us - I need to get some of that chicken wire for sure. It's a fun background fabric for sure. ~smile~ Roseanne
