It's another fun row along with Marian from Seams to Be Sew. She's the queen of these row alongs every year...thanks, Marian! This year's theme is "It's A Garden Party" and we had several choices for sizes of blocks. I went with a finished size of 30" x 30" for my "Ready to Party" block.
These guys are ready for a fun time in the garden!

You truly have the greatest imagination and a whimsical sense about you. So much inspiration here... Thank you for these six years of rowing with me, and hopefully more to come, and I'm also enjoying the Halloween group on FB... yea baby, that's my kind of group!!!

ReplyDeleteThat is ADORABLE. Love it.
ReplyDeleteI like to combine brights in my quilts. I also love copper so combine a bright with copper with typically good results.
Absolutely adorable block. I just emailed that I have an issue with opening the file from dropbox. I usually just do a direct download but was unable to this time. My favorite fabrics to use are older Thimbleberries or reproduction prints. I'll have to go through my brights (or buy some more...lol) to finish this cute block.
ReplyDelete...working now....third attempt worked fine. Cute, cute pattern....thanks so much.
ReplyDeleteA row that looks like one of yours. =) I love your style!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite color to combine with others is blue. Thank you for the cute block!
ReplyDeleteThat skunk's expression is so darned cute! I love to combine red and blue in my quilts, in all different shades, and often with a gray or gold.
ReplyDeleteHello: This year it seems to be purple and pink. However, I love all the brights. Thanks for such a cute block. It will look nice in a wall hanging. Thanks to the wonderful sponsors for the prizes and discounts.

What a lovely block! The dog takes me for a 6k walk early morning, and we often see raccoons and skunks. They are so cute, and I must admit, skunks are about the cutest, watching them lumber along with no fear, never hurrying. Shame they have their own secret weapon - or I would adopt one. Thank you so much.
