Riley Blake Designs Bee Basics Project Tour

It's my day to be a part of the Bee Basic Project Tour for Riley Blake Designs. The new fabric line is a vintage quilting collection by Lori Holt of "Bee in My Bonnet" that is great for apparel, quilting, or home decor. The colors and designs are beautiful!

My quilt, Busy Bee Gardenmeasures 50" x 50" and uses five different fabrics from Bee Basics: Polka Dot Turquoise, Heart Blue, Stitched Flower Yellow, Tiny Daisy Macaroni, and Polka Dot Gray.

Polka Dot Gray for binding

The wagon wheel in our backyard is a great place to throw this quilt.
I love the orange Tiny Daisy Macaroni fabric!

This guy scared the heck out of me when it ran right by the wagon wheel.

The Polka Dot Turquoise is really bright and sweet!

This REAL BEE was hiding in the flowers while I was clicking away on my camera.
Yikes!

Heart Blue has sweet little hearts and stitching in it.

You can find the pattern for Busy Bee Garden HERE.
