Hello Fall Blog Hop, First Day And My Day

"Hello Fall" is happening today...yay! I love being on the first day of a blog hop because then I have all week to relax and enjoy the amazing projects. Thanks to my favorite hostess, Carla from Creatin' in the Sticks, for this great idea and for getting us all lined up and ready to hop. As usual, she rocks my world with her inspiration and creativity!

I love fall, mostly because Halloween happens during those months. Anything to do with that holiday makes me very happy! Though it was hard, I went with JUST FALL...no Halloween.

Celebrating Fall Gnomes, 36" x 36" table topper

Did you know that there are a lot of websites that have names for gnomes? I didn't, but now I do!
I grabbed four of them for my fall gnomes.

Banxi

Gnorbitt

Krankle

Quilllz

Anywhere you sit at the table puts a gnome facing your way.

Fabric from my stash worked great for this. Most of it is Northcott's Canvas fabric that I love!

Of course I used my favorite iron-on adhesive...Therm O Web EZ Print Lite Sheets. No need to trace, just run through your inkjet printer.

You really need to check out all these blogs to see what they've made!

You can find the pattern for Celebrating Fall Gnomes in my Etsy shop HERE.

My Oliso purple iron is my favorite for pressing fabric. Having it pop-up when I set it down still amazes me. I have to be careful when I'm at a quilt retreat because I MIGHT forget their regular iron doesn't pop-up. That could be bad!

Oliso is having a sale on the vacuum sealers and as one of their affiliates, I said I'd share the codes to some really good deals even though it isn't sewing related.
