It's Halloween, Oh Yes It is!

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. It's fun, there's candy, and it's creepy.
What's not to love!
Add Halloween quilts, decorations, and costumes...I love it all!

The Walking Dead quilt with my two favorite dogs

Creepy Bunny

Creepy Bunny with Ghostly Dresden Neighborhood
The neighborhood was designed by Kim Lapacek of Persimon Dreams
who's also a designer at Therm O Web. She's so creative!

 Witches are a must!

Three sister witches means trouble for sure.

Creepy vegetable cats

This one was created because of my bloggy friend Kris at Kris Loves Fabric.
She has a way of challenging and inspiring me.

Watch out for all the creepy and scary creatures hiding in bushes tonight!

Happy Halloween!

A Superhero Cape, Monkey Boys, And Heat n Bond EZ Print Transfer

It's always a treat to take photos of the Monkey Boys, but when they're dressed in
Halloween costumes they are even more fun to photograph because they ham it up big time!

Maybe he's whispering the secret location of the Penguin.

A cape brings out the superheroes in all of us!

You don't want to mess with these two!

Check out Therm O Web's blog today to see how I made these two
Monkey Boys into superheroes using Heat n Bond EZ Print Transfer sheets.

You can find the cape pattern for a 2-6 year old at my Craftsy store HERE.

Enter Just Let Me Quilt If U Dare

Just Let Me Quilt is definitely ready for the Seams To Be Sew
Enter if U Dare Blog Hop!
I love, love, love Halloween!
Thanks, Marian, for hosting this blog hop!

I've been in a bit of a Dreaded Dresden mood lately so this project was perfect for me.
Creepy Bunny agreed with my choice of using the Dresden Neighborhood Quilt Pattern by Persimon Dreams that I'd seen on display at my favorite store, Quilted Works.
They'd added ghosts and Halloween fabrics...we loved it!

 Ghostly Dresden Neighborhood

It works great as a table topper or a wall hanging.

This guy is scaring everyone in the neighborhood...he looks a bit hungry for body parts.

There's great giveaways going on, too!
Fat Quarter Shop and Timeless Treasures are so generous!

This is the Dresden tool I used...find it HERE.

Riley Blake Designs Charming Fabrics Project Tour

I'm so happy to be a part of Riley Blake Designs Project Tour for Gerri Robinson's
Charming fabric designs. They are such a gorgeous collection of designs and colors!

Charming Dresden

These are the six fabrics I chose to sew with:

I enjoy making Dresden quilts and this one was no exception.

The blues made me think of winter so adding cuddle fabric to the back seemed like a perfect idea.
With the beautiful quilting done by Quilted Works, I totally love this Charming Dresden!

The photos were taken in Las Vegas on this long stone snake. It's amazing and
thankfully there wasn't a real snake anywhere near where I was standing.

You can find the pattern for Charming Dresden in my Craftsy store HERE.

A Fun Cruella Apron Costume Idea

Sometimes creating a whole costume is way too much work for me,
but making an apron into a costume can be easy and fun. I do love easy!

Just a little Dalmatian on the pocket

Of course, I used my favorite EZ Print Lite sheets to print out my patterns!

Cruella's favorite black Aurifil thread

Check out Therm O Web's blog for the whole post on this apron,
plus look around at all the other amazing projects happening this month.

The Super Dooper Boo Crew Quilt

I was so lucky to sew the Super Dooper Boo Crew quilt out of Blend’s Boo Crew fabrics.
It's even luckier that I get to post about it over on the Therm O Web blog!

Super Dooper Boo Crew

All the designs are so, so cute! I used the dog fabrics, but the cat designs are adorable, too.

I love these Heat n Bond EZ Print Lite sheets!
I know, I've said it a million times, but seriously, there's no tracing.
Just run the design through your inkjet printer...tada!

Trying to take photos of the quilt was interesting. The two year old was staying with
us for a few days and I guess he felt those bony dogs needed the ball.
He kept putting it back every time I moved. it. I love this Monkey Boy!

Bruster "Boo" isn't sure about these bony dogs hanging around his back yard.

You can find the pattern for Super Dooper Boo Crew at my Craftsy shop HERE.

Sun, Sand, And Sea BOM #9

It's unbelievable, but it's true!
We're already up to nine blocks for the Sun, Sand, and Sea BOM.
Amy's block is so cute this month with a swimsuit, flip flops, starfish (with sunglasses)
and sun tan oil. I'm totally ready to drop everything and head to the beach!

Bathing Beauty Block #9

Thanks to Riley Blake Designs, fabrics for my blocks, along with the bow for the waist
and some flowers for the flip flops, are made with Riley Blake Designs' Crayola fabrics.
I just saw that they have new Crayola boxes in Halloween and Christmas fabrics, too. Aren't the
boxes so fun looking...I want some! Click on the boxes to find them at the Fat Quarter Shop.

I use Therm O Web's Heat n Bond EZ Print Lite sheets to prepare
my applique pieces. I love that all I need to do is run the design through
my printer, iron it to the wrong side of my fabric, cut out the pieces,
and then press them in place. It is so fast and easy...I love easy!

Marcy at Made By Me In Red used last month's block, Beach Boy Freddie,
to create some towels. So, so cute! Thanks for the idea, Marcy!
