Life Is Good With A Dog In The House And A Giveaway

Dogs have always been a part of my life, so when Lorna at Sew Fresh Quilts showed the
adorable Dog Gone Cute blocks on her blog I just had to jump in and make a quilt with them!

The fun part was being able to pick the dogs I liked and use fabric from my stash.
Of course, I liked all those sweet pups and totally loved sewing them together.

Life is good with a dog in the house!

A little gingham ruffle goes perfectly with puppies!

Red polka dots on the back...fun!

Show And Tell Day With EQ7 Seasons Row-A-Long

It's time to show and tell the projects I made using rows from the EQ7 Season Row-A-Long.
What an amazing month of creative people from all over the world...wowzers!

This is how the quilt looks in EQ7. It was fun to move the rows around and get creative with them.

Here it is all sewn up in beautiful fabrics by Northcott.
The batting is by Hobbs which made it so snuggly and warm.
It's really big and measures 70" x 85.5"!
Thank you Northcott and Hobbs for helping me make this seasonal quilt!

I used rows from Anneke, Marian, both Carol's, Linda, Darlene, and both Amy's.
All the rows were so beauiful and fun, but I couldn't use them all...darn!
Quilting was by Quilted Works.

It was also fun to take just a few blocks from rows to create other projects like this baby quilt using
the adorable airplanes from Carla's row. The quilt measures 42" x 52" - fabrics are by Northcott.

CREATIN IN THE STICKS

I loved the hearts in Doris' row.

Sometimes You Just Have To Laugh About It

I've taken a little break from sewing to hang out with the Monkey Boys
...can't help but laugh when I'm with them and the rest of the family!

It was a proud moment for the oldest Monkey Boy to receive a scout award, so of course a family
photo was necessary. Getting five boys to hold still, smile, and look at the camera at the same time is
quite a challenge if not impossible. Add grandpa ("Doodah") to the equation and things get crazy.

The guy in the window wasn't suppose to do that, but we had a good laugh over it. Luckily, I took a
few more pics without Doodah photo bombing them, but the little monkey never did hold still.

The EQ7 Seasons Row-A-Long is still going on, so don't miss downloading the patterns.
Some of them will not be free at the end of the RAL...hurry and get them NOW!
Want to be really nice and polite?
Take a minute to leave a comment thanking them for the ones you download.

October 6th is the Show and Tell Day of projects some of us made.
Here's a snippet from one of my projects...love those Northcott Fabrics!

This row is from Marian at Seams To Be Sew.

There's also the Dog Gone Cute blog hop that starts October 6th. Those dogs are so cute!
Lorna has instructions for making them on her blog, SEW FRESH QUILTS.
