Sleepytime by Moda

I love this fabric and the quilt-as-you-sew method made it so easy. I started it on Saturday and finished it today, binding and all. My seam roller made it go even faster since I didn't have to get up to iron down each seam. This was a such a fun quilt to make!

Note: I ended up donating this to an online auction for Emily Jones, who's husband died in the Nutty Putty Caves.

Run Flamingo Run

I started this quilt today. The pattern in going to be one I created, so it will be surprise to me how it will actually turn out. Flamingo Run is a Moda fabric and I'm adding some black, beige, and other fabric.

UPDATE!
I finished the quilt and mailed it off to Jason on September 1st. He used to have some plastic pink flamingos that he put in the yard of his rental house (I think it was just to annoy the neighbors.) When I saw this fabric, it made me think of him.

Chutes And Ladders Quilt

I used Shape Shifting by Scrap Apple Quilts as the basis for this quilt. OF COURSE, I tweaked it a little by changing the border. Chutes & Ladder fabric by Moda

Love the minky on the bag--so soft!

Quilted Works did a great job on the machine quilting.

The big question? Who's gonna get this one?
ANDREA, THAT'S WHO!

Red & Blue Quilt

I gave this quilt to Lindsay for her non-Christmas gift.

The Volleyball Quilt

This is the first quilt I machine stitched all the binding--so easy! I had it machine quilted at Quilted Works, picked it up on Friday and finished sewing the binding on today. Whew! I love it!
I gave it to Lewis, of course!

Mary Englebret Apron

My lovely and willing model is showing of my gardening apron. I made it from Mary Englebret fabric and gave it away on one of my "Cheap Carol" contests--Alli won this. It has three pockets at the top and is (obviously) floor length.

Cash's Quilt

This was a baby gift for Cash (his name is embroidered at the top on the sun.) It has soft minky on the back and says, "I wish I wish I'd catch a fish." Seemed appropriate since his grandpa is a fisherman.

Kennedy's Quilt

I made this out of Mary Englebret panel and fabric as a gift for Kennedy. It has a soft light blue minky on the back and I embroidered her name on the front.

Monkey Blankets

Two Monkey Boys relaxing with their monkey blankets.

These blankets are made with monkey print flannel on the front and green polka dot flannel on the back.

They were made the simple way--turn them inside-out and stitch around the edges.
I embroidered their names on the back so they won't get them mixed up.

The Brown Quilt

I wasn't crazy about this quilt that I started in May 2008, but after it was quilted in December 2008, I loved it! It is from the Turning Twenty pattern book by Tricia Cribbs. Of course, I made my little "tweeks" in it to make it a little bigger for my queen size bed.
I love the quilting on this!

The Doll Quilt

This started out as a baby blanket, but it turned out to be more like a doll quilt. I gave it away on one of my contests.

Jeepers Creepers Is It Halloween Yet?

I sew a lot slower these days, but it is really a nice change. There were times I was whipping out 7-9 projects a month. Way too much! Now ...
