Happy 4th Of July Week

I love most holidays, but my favorite ones are when I get to hang around with my family.
Lucky me that the Monkey Boys and their parents came to celebrate the 4th of July!
Last night we took them to a local farm to pick fruit for $1 a pound...it was so fun!

There were lots of ants on the ground and weeds to walk through, but I survived.

There was a snake, too...boys will be boys!

I do love close up photos, soooo...

Monkey Baby picked a lot of fruit and, of course, had to sample it.

Some of it wasn't quite ripe so they were a bit sour.

There were peaches, apricots, plums, and some other mixed fruits.

It was time to go, but he had other plans.

It was a great family day!

  1. Sounds like a fun time. Though ants and definitely, snakes (ewww!), are not my style. Happy 4th.

  6. Hi Carol! I love every single thing in this post. How wonderful that the whole family could be together. Is there anything better than enjoying those boys?!! And that sour picture said everything without a single word. My lips were puckering with him. Yum - fresh peaches. So glad you had a nice holiday. ~smile~ Roseanne

  7. How cute!!! The boys are growing so quickly. That snake would have sent me out of that orchard faster than anyone can imagine.
