The Road Home To Vegas

We all have a place we call "home" even if we don't live there now.
Marian of Seams To Be Sew and Amy from Sew Incredibly Crazy
gathered together several designers to create rows of their "homes."
Nice job, Marian and Amy...thank you for your hard work!

Las Vegas will always be my home.

I grew up in Las Vegas with my three sisters.

I was married in Las Vegas...like a gazillion other people.

My children and their children started their lives in Las Vegas.

I love Las Vegas!

Here's my row:
The Road Home to Vegas

Finished Row: 12" x 40"

Your row is so cute, Carol. It really made me smile. One question--Where's Elvis? LOL It seems like every one wants to go to Vegas to be married by him. I loved reading your story. Thank you for sharing.

Best yet...what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. At least that's what I'm told! LOL! What a fun row. It's on the top of my to do list! Love your photo of the hotel being imploded too! Sad that most of the hotels, I remember from days gone by are no longer there. We always stayed at Treasure Island when the boys were growing up. Back in the day when it was kid friendly.

A few years ago, my husband and I spent a week in Vegas. Both of us had no interest in visiting there until a good friend encouraged us. Good thing we listened, because we loved it! There is so much to do and see, even if one just walks up and down the strip! We will go back, for sure.
