Riley Blake Designs "Fab-boo-lous" Blog Tour

I never think it's too early or too late to sew Halloween projects so I was totally in for creating
and sewing with Riley Blake Designs "Fab-boo-lous" fabrics. "Fab-boo-lous by Dani Mogstad
for Riley Blake Designs is great for quilting, apparel and home decor." I love them all!

"Halloween Boos"
Finished size is 50" x 65"

This quilt has a cat, hat, shoes, and spider.

Spooky house, boiling cauldron, with a bag of tricks and bowl of treats.

Of course, there is a ghost, Jack-O-Lantern, and bottled spells.

The fabrics are just amazing with just the right amount of Halloween fun in them!

You can find the PDF pattern for "Halloween Boos" in my Etsy store HERE.

You can find Fab-boo-lous at several local and online stores including:

I LOVE using Heat n Bond EZ Print Lite Sheets when I make my applique projects.
The EZ Print sheets can be run through an inkjet printer and then ironed on your fabric.
No tracing all the pieces! Plus, the protective backing peels off
so easily without having to use a pin to score the paper...I love that and think you will, too!

Riley Blake Designs John Wayne Blog Tour

I grew up watching western type shows on TV, including ones with John Wayne, so it was a sweet
treat to sew Riley Blake Designs fabric with my favorite TV cowboy in the panels. John Wayne
was born Marion Robert Morrison, but a fireman in Glendale, California, "started calling him
"Little Duke" because he never went anywhere without his huge Airedale Terrier, Duke. He
preferred "Duke" to "Marion", and the nickname stuck." We all knew who "The Duke" was!

Finished quilt measures: 60” x 72”

I love those small panel sections from John Wayne's movies!
The beautiful quilting was done by Quilted Works.

The background is an abandoned shack in Washington, Utah.

The colors in the RBD fabrics are so bright and vibrant in any setting!

So many amazing prints!

"The John Wayne collection for Riley Blake Designs is great for quilting, apparel and home decor. This print features small scale stars, lassos, and other cowboy motifs. Official licensed product."

Fabric can be found in these and other stores soon:
