This fabric line is by Stacy West of Buttermilk Basin Design Co. and is perfect for quilts, 

apparel, or home decor. They are 100 per cent cotton and are so soft and beautiful!

Blend’ Fabric’s Limonella Table Runner

I'm on the Therm O Web blog today showing the process of putting this  table runner together. 

The Blend Limonella fabric is really beautiful and would brighten up any room!

Blend’s Limonella fabric line by designer Brenda Walton was such a pleasure to sew with. 

The fabric made my room and my day a lot happier with all the butterflies, flowers, and birds.

Such a great runner for a picnic, too!

A Little Summer Dress Made With ThermOWeb And Windham Fabrics

When my girls were young, I did a lot of sewing for them. This little sundress would have been 

perfect to keep them cool, because the heat in Las Vegas can be intense. Very, very intense! 

The designs of Windham’s Botany Fabric by Kelly Ventura and Windham Gypsy Fabric by 

Jennifer VanDenburgh, were perfect for McCall’s sundress pattern #7142.

I used Heat n Bond Tricot Fusible Medium Weight for the bodice...fusible tricot is amazing!

It's great for projects that need interfacing, but still need to drape a bit.

Aurifil Thread is perfect for any sewing project, including this one.

Aurifil Thread Isn’t Just For Sewing

I have five Monkey Boys staying at my house for a week.

Yes, it will be crazy, but I love the energy and smiles they bring to my life. 

This 3-year old Monkey Boy helped open my new package of Aurifil thread

and showed me that sewing isn’t the only way to enjoy these beautiful colors.

It was a very intense project opening those little spools of thread.

The Nancy Rink collection is beautiful and goes great with the Windham Gypsy fabric.

It's definitely going to be a week of smiles at my house!

A Fun Cruella Apron Costume Idea

Sometimes creating a whole costume is way too much work for me,

but making an apron into a costume can be easy and fun. I do love easy!

It's The Princess And The Pea All Stacked Up

This little set of The Princess and the Pea was really fun to play with. I mean create.

Well, a little bit of both...fun to play, fun to create.

The Mini American Girl doll was dressed just the way I used to dress.

The bright and cheery fabric in the zipper bag and mattresses includes Bittersweet 

from Riley Blake Designs.

Of course, one of the mattresses had to have a pea and how beautiful is this

Aurifil green thread...love it!

Aurifil’s Tula Pink 50 weight variegated thread looked beautiful with the fabrics.

A Half-Sized Crafty Apron With Henry Glass Shop Hop Fabric

Sewing a half-sized crafty apron with Henry Glass Shop Hop fabric had me smiling all day. 

I am totally in love with the ladies on this fabric..they are having so much fun together! 

Designer Bonnie Krebs definitely caught how we feel about shopping for fabric with friends.

These are just a few of the "ladies."

The red head in the middle would be my friend, Brenda. 

She can do cartwheels and jump on trampolines, so this Pogo stick would be no biggie for her.
Paula and Nancy would probably take a go at it, too!

This would be Susan, Bernice, Vicki, Brenda, and me ready to shop.
