I'm not sure the chocolate will actually make it out of my house.
I love Ghirardelli chocolates!

It's Never Too Early To Make A Christmas Gift

It's over a month until Christmas arrives, but it's never to early to get started on Christmas projects and gifts. I started with this Santa mug rug and I'm over at the Therm O Web blog today showing
how I made it. Be sure to check out the Therm O Web blog for more Christmas gift ideas!

Dear Santa Mug Rug

Therm O Web iron-on vinyl on the back helps protect furniture from drippy drinks.

There's a pocket for a letter to Santa, too.

Fill a basket or container with a mug, some yummy hot chocolate packets, marshmallows, and
cookies to take to your friends or neighbors as a Christmas gift. Santa will love you for it!

It's An Eerie Night Blog Hop For Me With Giveaways

Halloween stuff is definitely spooky and creepy, which is why I'm loving the Eerie Nights Blog Hop.

I get so excited about Halloween!

There are lots of amazing and delightfully Halloweenish stuff being shared!
A HUGE thank you goes to
Marian from SEAMS TO BE SEW and

My whole family are huge fans of the television series
THE WALKING DEAD
We love, love, love it!
Yes, we are definitely a bit creepy. No, the Monkey Boys don't get to watch it.
We're not happy with the Season 7 opening show, but we'll survive.

With that show in mind, I created a Beware of Walkers wall hanging using Robert Kaufman's "Blood Type" fabric that I picked up while out shopping with my nine year old Monkey Boy.
He thought it was so cool!
Then I used my new-to-me Silhouette Cameo to cut out the shapes and letters.
They had WALKERS...better known as zombies...for downloading. That was exciting for me!
The Silhouette made cutting them out much easier!

These two chihuahuas might have been victims of walkers.

A little Deco Foil gave it the appropriate "bloody" look.
(The sun didn't cooperate to show off the shine, but trust me it looks bloody wet.)
I painted some Deco Foil Transfer Adhesive on the "blood", covered it with parchment paper,
and ironed it. After waiting until it was cool, I removed the foil. Shiny!

There's two giveaways...one from me and one from Timeless Treasures.

If you win the giveaway from Timeless Treasures, you'll receive a surprise holiday bundle.
Thanks Timeless Treasures for such an amazing giveaway!

I have a sweet little bundle of Deco Foil products for the winner of my giveaway.
(Check out ThermOWeb's blog for ideas on how to use it.)

All you have to do to enter my giveaway is to leave a short and creepy/sweet comment.
Giveaway ends at 12 PM October 28, 2016.

There's a Winner!

Sometimes A Sale Just Calls My Name

In reality, a sale ALWAYS calls my name.
This one was really calling me...buy me, buy me, buy me!
How could I pass up a sale that was 50% to 75% off, especially when it was at my favorite store,

Well, I couldn't, so I didn't.

Two fabric kits, one of them a laser cut kit, and Deco Foil products.
I think I was a little over excited at finding all these amazing bargains.
What's not to love about a sale!

These Deco Foil products were a HUGE savings...thank you, Barbara and Charlotte!
(I might have skipped a little when I left the building holding my purple bag.)
I do love that Deco Foil. Shiny things just make me oooh and aaah.

Check out the Thermoweb blog for ways to use this foil:

A Zippered Pocket Tote Bag

I have lots of tote bags, but my favorite ones have zippered pockets.
Having spaces to hide my gadgets is such a bonus!
Another bonus is being lucky enough to design for Therm-o-web...I love their products!
I'm on their blog today showing how to make a tote with a zippered pocket.
Check it out HERE!

There's instructions for adding the zipper and using Deco Foil for a little sparkle.
Fabric can also be used for the flowers instead of Deco Foil.

I used Fabric Fuse Liquid Adhesive to hold the zipper in place and once it was dry,
I sewed it along the edge. So easy!

A Little Fabric Photo Book Using Deco Foil

I had such a great time with my Monkey Boys this summer, but the Monkey Baby
didn't get to come so I made a little fabric photo book just for him.
He was able to see all the things his big brother's had been up to.
Deco Foil added just the right touch to the cover!

Little Fabric Photo Book, 4" x 4"

I'm over at Therm-o-web today showing how I made it using:

Check it out HERE!

Next time this little guy will have to join us.

A few graphics on the pages added some fun to the photos!

Summer Treats Quilt

I'm definitely an ice cream lover and I have to admit I don't eat it just in the summer.
That cold yummy stuff is a year round treat for me, especially if it is chocolate ice cream.
My dogs love it when I share the last of my sugar cone with them.

It looks like this pup is delighted with the ice cream drops...I would be, too!

Summer Treats

My friend, Barbara, did the quilting...love the cute little sun and
I added Deco Foil to give some shine to the ice cream.

Head over to the Therm O Web blog to see how I added the Deco Foil to the quilt...HERE.

Getting Creative With Deco Foil On A Quilt

One of my adventures lately has been to get creative with Deco Foil on a quilt.
This time I learned to layer two different colors of the foil. Fun!

Check out how I did it over on the Therm O Web blog HERE.
So many amazing colors of Deco Foil to choose from!

It's never too early to get ready for a 4th of July picnic or barbecue!
The Oval Basket makes a perfect accessory for holding all those plates, napkins, and utensils.
The instructions are over on the ThermOWeb blog today...check it out HERE!

Ironing on the Deco Foil is so easy and adds some sparkle to any paper or fabric project.

Oh, The Places You'll Go Zipper Bag

I had such fun adding Deco Foil to my zipper bag!
Check it out over at the ThermOWeb blog where I'm showing how I made it.

All Zipped Up

It would make a great gift for the high school graduate who is college-bound.
Fill it with useful goodies like cleaning supplies, towels, and kitchen utensils.
You could even add a first aid All Zipped Up-Little Bag.

It's also a perfect sized laptop bag!

Deco Foil adds a little bling to fabric and paper that really shines...you have to try it!
It comes in so many colors, too.
