Garden Blocks And Other Things

My "In Our Garden" blocks are ready for March 1st and it totally goes along with the weather we've
been having...in the 70's! It's hard to believe that just a few weeks ago we had this kind of weather:

I loved that snow, but not wearing a jacket is definitely a nice thing!

So, are you making blocks for "In Our Garden"?

It's time for tulips and my March block will definitely scream, "Garden weather!"

A little snippet...

You have plenty of time to sew Amy's blocks like I did.
Check out the "In Our Garden" Facebook page for other blocks HERE.

Marian at Seams To Be Sew has another blog hop coming up. You don't have to make
anything for this one, just share something about yourself and your sewing adventures.

Quilt Qwazy Queens

Do you ever wonder where the day has gone?

I feel like I'm moving in slow motion all the time. I know I've been doing
some sewing lately, actually lots of sewing, but I have nothing to show yet.

What I really want to know is...

What the heck happened to that young, skinny, and energetic girl I used to be!
This is me with my lifelong Valentine a long, long time ago when I had enough energy to clean the
house, sew curtains or dresses, paint rooms, make homemade cinnamon rolls...all on the same day!
Where has the time gone!

Lots Of Snowing In The Desert

It snowed and snowed and snowed all day. Literally all day...like more than 10 hours straight.
This may not seem like a big deal to some of you who have LOTS of snow,
but this is the desert and the few times it does snow it melts pretty fast.

This white stuff is sticking around!

Even my new angel is loving this snow!

With so much snow and icy streets, I stayed in and sewed all day.
I practiced a little with my embroidery module and used it to do some machine quilting.
Oh my gosh, it was so fun! Can't show it all, but here's a little peek at my Kona project:

Purple, of course!

Are you busy sewing Christmas gifts and/or baking?

Do you have a favorite cookie recipe? Share it on my virtual cookie exchange

Looking for a giveaway? Go check it out...it ends on December 8th

P.S. If you see snow floating down in my photo above,
do not ask me how I did it. I have no idea...it just appeared there! LOL!

Dresden Carnival In Rikstacket

C heck out the Summer 2026 R IKSTACKET quilt magazine that my friend, Britt-Inger, sent me  from Sweden. It was such a pleasure and an hono...
