It's the last day of the frightfully fun "Ghastly Ghouls" blog hop...can't we keep it going? I guess not, but it has been spell-binding to see what amazing projects were made. I heard cackles of joy and wails of delight all week!
Some of the nicest people I know have been known to call me "Creepy Carol" because of my love for Halloween. At least I think that's why they call me that! Hmmm...maybe I better look into that. Anyway, I thought it would be fun to call my "Ghastly Ghouls" blog hop project "Creepy Carol's Cottage" after those nice friends of mine.
50" x 56"
The fabrics in the quilt are from Benartex: "Halloween Party" by Kanvas Studios, Superior Solids, Wide Wave Texture, and Cotton Shot.
What's my favorite in the "Halloween Party"?
Scaredy Cat...it's purple with black cats. What's not to love!
Star Party Lime is a very close second.
I love fancy dresses and black cats!
A candelabra to light my path and a shiny ghost to keep me company on dark and stormy nights
The Cotton Shot Pearl Wedding Cake fabric shines
Potions and bones for my magical concoctions
Spooky eyes watch over those Scaredy Cat orange heels
Boots are a must for party nights!
My crystal ball keeps me informed about the future of blog hops...all is good!
This is my dream cottage!
The rat likes my spare broom the best
This is my favorite broom for nightly flights over Las Vegas
The cauldron is brewing a special potion and my stockings are hung to dry
Every respectable witch has a magical hat for special occasions
I love the 108" Benartex Wide Wave Texture for the quilt back
You can find the pattern for Creepy Carol's Cottage in my Etsy Store HERE.
Most of the applique was made using a "Halloween Party" fat quarter bundle. Guess what! Benartex has offered a giveaway of the same fat quarters I used in Creepy Carol's Cottage. How cool is that...thank you, Benartex! My little friend isn't sure he wants to share, but I'll convince him to not croak about it.
Winner!
