Two, YES two, blog hops happening!
You can find both schedules
Thanks to Madame Samm of Sew We Quilt for her creative ideas and encouragement,
and Carla of Creatin' in the Sticks for managing two hops at once and keeping us on track!
All my projects are made with She Who Sews fabric by Quilting Treasures.
The fabric's art is so detailed and is just fun to look at!
That embroidery module is so big and heavy, but it didn't come with a bag.
As you know, I'm not the LEAST BIT competitive with That Other Lady, but after I saw her monster-sized bag for her light box, I knew I needed to make a big bag, too. Mine is not as big as That Other Lady's (so she wins), but at 26" X 27" it fits my embroidery module perfectly and will keep it dust free.
That embroidery module is so big and heavy, but it didn't come with a bag.
This is an embroidery design that matches She Who Sews fabric.
It took about two hours to embroidery this little beauty!
I love having this ironing board sitting next to my sewing machine for quick presses.
I layered a small board with batting, thermal batting, flannel, and my fabric.
A small lap quilt keeps my feet warm while I do my hand stitching.
There's no batting, just soft chenille fabric for the back.
Thanks for dropping by to visit!
Look who's hopping today:

ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing :)
Lost of pretty things! Love the mini irongin board, but I have some soft blue with pins and needles on it that will fit the bill.
ReplyDeleteCarol, as always I know when I click on your post I am in for a treat. As always, I am still surprised by the creativity and all the little details in your work. Beautiful projects, as always. Just keep them coming ... :) Pat
ReplyDeleteWhat darling sewing room creations! Very creative. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteOh Carol, they are all wonderful. So cute! Well done. That is the greatest fabric.
ReplyDeleteOf course all beauties!! Love your little ironing board. I need to make one of those. And the lap quilt with chenille would be ooh la la. They are all just fabulous!
ReplyDeleteYour projects are always over the moon! What a great idea for an embroidery unit! They size matters and if it fits, that's what's important. I love your ironing board. A friend bought me an expensive cutting mat/ironing board combo for Christmas. It's nice and I can take it with me to classes - she should not have spent that kind of money - even if she got it on sale - too much $$$$. I love yours. The Tammy bag is wonderful. I could kick myself that I didn't join in that hop. I just didn't have the foresight (or any sight at that time). I just got my second Rx for glasses since dual eye surgery at the end of November today!!!!! I love your throw. Aren't they cozy? I was just reading to use flannel or Minky and no wadding (lol) for baby blankets. They like the softness and it saves trouble not having to futz with the wadding. What's up with babies? We like them, too! As always, thanks for participating. I love your inspiration. I loved your grow your blog post and got to know more about you.
ReplyDeleteGreat projects!

ReplyDeleteGorgeous projects Carol! I adore the big bag and the embroidery you did.
ReplyDeleteOh Carol that embroidery really is beautiful - I'd seen it advertised and wondered but since I don't have an embroidery machine any more I was afraid I'd never to get to see it stitched out. And I love your small ironing board. I have a small one but plain...I might just have enough fabric left to do that. :) blessings, marlene

ReplyDeleteHi Carol all of your projects are creative and soo pretty.
ReplyDeleteI love this fabric I hope I can find some at my quilt store in Stratford. She doesn't carry a lot of American Fabric that I want and it is getting so expensive to order because of mailing. I would like the panel.
Oh I love your embroidery piece Carol! Thank you for sharing your lovely pieces.
ReplyDelete~Brandy
Here's my one question: Do you ever sleep? Every piece was wonderful! My favorite parts were the embroidery on the bag, the ironing board and the tammy bag. You are amazing friend!
ReplyDeleteI really love all your projects Carol! The embroidery is stunning and your Tammy bag is so cute...I would like to make one some day. I really like the idea of using chenille to back a throw quilt....this would be perfect for my mother as her feet are always cold. I really need to make myself a pressing board too. I think this fabric is amazing! Thank you for sharing!

ReplyDeleteHi Carol - I love your big bag, tammy and your embroidery piece, as a red head/brunette! Very nice job. Thanks for designing with our She Who Sews. J. Wecker Frisch
ReplyDeleteI love all of them, the ironing board cover is cool, I think if I made that I'd use a backing fabric that I didn't like and use it to iron on tho, thus I keep the nice fabric in good shape. I can turn it over to look pretty when it's not in use. Very cool tho. Thank you!!
