Joan at Moosestash Quilting really knows how to frighten up some spooky
Halloween quilt projects. She's totally a witchy lady!
I saw a quilt panel earlier this year and I had to have it.
It was Steampunk and Halloween...a perfect combo.
Then I needed all the Halloween fabrics to go with the panel.
You all know how this goes and why our fabric stash never shrinks.
I bought the Halloween Steampunk fabrics and I saw a Christmas Steampunk kit
while I was looking at the Halloween fabrics. Of course, I bought it, too,
but that's for another Christmas blog hop someday. It's a hopeless situation! LOL

The next two blog hops have a few openings if you want to play along.
Your steampunk quilt is really different and awesome! I love Lori Holt's patterns; that one looks extra complex. I really like your fabric choices.
ReplyDeleteLove that Steampunk quilt and I'm so excited seeing your Lori Holt Witch come together. She is just too cute!
ReplyDeleteLove your steampunk quilt! And the skeleton - lol! The Lori Holt quilted witch is going to be so cute. I get the "hopeless situation" ;)
ReplyDeleteOhhhh, "Steampunk and Halloween...a perfect combo" makes perfect sense to me. I get suckered in every time steampunk is featured. Wonderful project. You know I love the quilt project from Lori Holt that you're working on. Love how the hair flows from the witch - it's marvelous that wind can be duplicated in her hair. Can't wait to see it completed. Excellent, Carol.
ReplyDeleteYour quilt is scarily steampunk and looks like great fun! Your friend is very appreciative to now have it around her Haunted House, I'm sure.
ReplyDeleteLove your quilts! I'm excited to see the Lori Holt quilt come together.
ReplyDeleteCool steampunk panel and quilt! Your witch is coming together well--looking forward to seeing the finished product. :)

ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your steam punk and Lori Holt quilts. What fun!
ReplyDeleteThe Steampunk and Halloween together are perfect. I’ve had so much fun watching your witch come together. The green fabric you are using for her is just fabulous.
ReplyDeleteThose are both cute projects and so many fun fabrics to fit into the quilted witch one!
ReplyDeleteYour steampunk quilt is so awesome. I love it
ReplyDeleteI laughed out loud when I read that you were too scared to say, "no!" Your friend will enjoy it, I'm sure!
ReplyDeleteGreat projects! Your steam punk quilt is so cute, and your Lori Holt quilt is coming along nicely. So sorry this is so late in coming, but I can only make comments from my computer, and then it's tricky if it is accepted. Hope you can make heads or tails of the crow and pumpkin pattern I emailed you.
ReplyDeleteYour steampunk quilt is fantastic! And I love the progress you have on the quilted witch, such a fun quilt!
ReplyDeleteI made that steam punk quilt a couple of years ago for my daughter’s family. They love steam punk! It’s such a fun Halloween panel.
