Robin Williams was so right when he said, "Spring is nature's way of saying, 'Let's Party'!"
A garden full of flowers definitely looks like a party...don't you think so?
I'm over at the ThermOWeb blog today sharing this Spring Party Quilt and how to make it using
HeatnBond Fusible Interfacing and Spray n Bond Basting Adhesive for quilting.
Plus, they are having a giveaway on their blog for an Oliso iron and Deco Foil HERE!
I love my Oliso iron!
Spring Party Quilt
Doesn't my purple Oliso look fabulous ironing that HeatnBond Fusible Interfacing in place!
I think having a purple iron makes pressing things so much more fun!
The interfacing ironed to the back of my embroidery fabric keeps threads from showing on front,
plus it's amazing how stable it makes the fabric when blanket stitching around applique.
I love, love, love to use SpraynBond for basting my quilts...no pins and so easy!
Head on over to ThermOWeb to see more about my Spring Party Quilt!
You can download the pattern at my Craftsy store HERE.
I love everything in your post! The quilt is such an adorable little Spring design. Flowers are always a joy. And that purple iron...how fun is that!!!
ReplyDeleteCarol, your quilt is adorable! Love it!
ReplyDeleteI adore the little spring quilt. I have found more things I want to make today. I'll never catch up even if I only remember half of them. I use the spray n bond, but have never tried the heatnbond fusible interfacing. I still have some pellon left. But will give it a try when that is gone. I'm going to check you out at ThermoWeb now.
ReplyDeleteI love your quilt! And that purple iron isn't too bad either!
ReplyDeleteYour quilt is so cute, and I am thinking your iron is pretty darn cute too.
ReplyDeleteThat is really cute, Carol. That purple iron is perfect for spring too.
ReplyDeleteCool I learned something new too. The Heat and Bond EZ print light looks like a great way to do applique.
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty spring quilt.
ReplyDeleteSuch a refreshing post!!! I love this Spring quilt!!!
ReplyDeleteYour purple Oliso iron does look like a breath of Spring. I actually like ironing and I don't even have a fun colorful iron. I do use Thermoweb to stabilize embroidery fabrics. Happy Easter Blessings Dear...
