Another amazing blog hop has begun!
Lots of creative people are sewing in this one,
so be prepared to be WOW'd!
Madame Samm at Sew We Quilt is the queen of the blog hops
by keeping us motivated and inspired (and gets us all those great giveaway prizes!)
Madame Samm will post all the coin purses on Pinterest, HERE
Katherine from Sew Me Something Good is hosting this hop and has done a
Priceless job of getting us signed up and sewing these little coin purses.
You can see the whole schedule HERE.
I sewed a few coin purses, but concede that I mostly likely did not and cannot make
as many as that other lady probably did (not that I'm competitive or anything.)
The Nancy Drew blog hop is coming on January 2nd
and (whoohoo) I get to host it. Lucky for me, Madame Samm
sent me a couple samples of the fabric (thank you!)
to whip up these little coin purses.
I love the fabric!
As a thank you for stopping by to see
my coin purses, I'm having A Giveaway!

I love Shop Hops because you get to see fabric you sometimes don't see (and purchase!) I was able to pick up a copy of 101 Projects using 1 yard of fabric, a great book. ReplyDeleteFirst time Ive been to your blog. Love it! I'll be back. Off to Joannes to find a purse frame.
ReplyDeleteSo, she showed 26 plus 1, that is 27 plus a couple of sneaky previews, more like a total of 30! Madame Samm, that's who, LOL!
ReplyDeletejbechosend at sbcglobal dot net
27! Yes, 27 in that one post! You were correct. Even if we had put ours together, she would have beaten us!
ReplyDeleteYou did a fantastic job on your purses Carol...I especially love the 2 with chains attached; so vintage. Thank you for a giveaway also. The hop has been lots of fun!!
ReplyDeleteAll the purses that have been showen the last few days have been beautiful. There is not one that I would not love to have. Good job everyone.
ReplyDeleteI count 27 on her post, though I'm sure she's got others!
ReplyDeleteShe posted 27, but made many more :-)
ReplyDeleteThe count "appears" to be 27 or is it? I'm sure Madame has more up her sleeve :)
ReplyDeleteI think 27 but it's probably higher!
ReplyDeleteThese things must be addictive to make -- I can just see myself getting immersed in them. Too much fun!
ReplyDeleteshe states 26 but probably higher. "The truth of the matter is I ONLY made about 26...maybe a couple
ReplyDeletemore- that I did not include here, because they were my samples
and our button for this blog hop...."
Fawn
Wow you did good! Love all the little embellishments. Gorgeous every one!
ReplyDeleteThis is what Madam Samm said on her blog: "The truth of the matter is I ONLY made about 26...maybe a couple more- that I did not include here, because they were my samples and our button for this blog hop...."
ReplyDeleteMadamm Samm made 53, but by now probably has made 10 more! I see that she made one for each letter of the alphabet plus 1. 26 + 1 = 27. Then all those extras!
ReplyDeleteCarol, Your purses are divine! You're inspiring me to buy the pattern and sew one! I like your pink fuzzy one and the Nancy Drew purse. Thanks for the giveaway!
