I'm Feeling A Little Neighborly!

Marlene at Stitchin By The Lake had a great idea to get people out of their blogging world comfort zones by visiting NEW blogs and being neighborly. Isn't that the greatest idea! I'm on for today, so here's a big welcome to anyone who's never been here before.

A little note about me: I love to play with my Monkey Boys (4 grandsons) who light up my world, I work full-time as an admin assistant, take care of a couple elderly people, research dead people (genealogy), and in between all of that I sew, sew, sew. A fun thing I've been doing for a few months is to be a cheerleader for Madame Samm's blog hops (check her blog at Sew We Quilt.) She keeps me motivated and inspired to try new things.

Here's the blog list for today's
Let's Go Visiting:

I'm right in the middle of a quilting blog hop, too, so while you're here why don't you go enter the giveaway I have going on. Just click HERE to get to the post about the giveaway.

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Hi, Carol -
It's so nice to meet you. I've had fun visiting all the 'neighbors' in Marlene's neighborhood. I'll be back to read more and see what you're working on.

  2. I have to say, Marlene knows how to pick friends ... and I guess since everyone shows up on the same screen, we are all neighbors.

  8. Hi Carol, I'm already a follower so I visit regularly now. I have worked the last 3 days on my genealogy and made some good progress. I go in spurts. Today I'm going to a genealogy class at the library.
