I Think It's Spring Where I Live, Maybe

Most days around my neighborhood seem like it's spring, but then
a storm will pass through with tons of rain and I'm just not sure.
It's so confusing so I'm going to just pretend it is spring!

 Bring On Spring!
Pillow, 18" x 18"

I'm sharing this pillow over on the Therm O Web blog today...check it out!

Of course, I use the amazing and easy Heat n Bond EZ Print Lite sheets
to get my applique pattern ready for ironing to my project. No tracing!

One of the best things I ever learned about doing applique was to use a
heatproof applique sheet to put the pieces together before ironing them to
my project. I just arrange them how I want them on the sheet, press for a few
seconds, let cool, and then place where I want on my project.
No more accidently ironing in the wrong place!

This is my favorite applique tool!

You can find the Bring On Spring! PDF pattern in my Etsy store.

  4. Beautiful pillow and a great way to bring spring indoors, even if the outside is not being cooperative.
I use a sheet for pressing, sure saves on melting the fusible onto my iron;)

  6. Cute pillow, Carol! I hope it's spring here in IL, but I'm not holding my breath just yet. I love your bright and cheery colors. At least it can be spring inside, if not outside. :)

  7. Great pillow and hope it works! We've escalated to 82 yesterday and Monday will be a high of 44! Is that spring? Not in my book. LOL It's a page of winter and a page of summer, with a little spring in between. And where's my sunshine? Thanks for the tips on appliqué.
