Christmas Is In My Heart Today

I've been into adding hearts on my quilts this year so when Marian at Seams To Be Sew
announced the blog hop "Christmas Is In My Heart", I knew I had to join in the fun.
We all need a little love!

For The Love of Christmas Quilt

Fabrics: Grunge, BasicGrey by Moda
Quilting Thread: Superior Thread's King Tut
Quilt size: 50" x 50"

Monkey Boy #4 helped me sew my quilt...he cut the threads and gave me some loving while I sewed.
He also helped push the fabric through and told me, "Good job, Grandma!"
(Yes, I was a little nervous that it would be more than threads that he cut, but he did great.)

My sweet Monkey Boy and me

I had an extra crew member this time to help with the quilt photo shoot.

Doodah and Monkey Boy #4
These two are definitely in my heart!

I spy a Monkey Boy!

Posing with the quilt...he's so proud of himself!

This photo was taken at the park with the help of two cute kids, a brother and sister.
They asked what I was doing and then were so willing to hold the quilt in place.
I love those little helping fingers showing above the quilt!

Thank you, Marian, for gathering us all together for this hop!

  6. Great looking quilt you've created with your little helper. It's such fun to have a grandchild helping you no matter what it is at the young age such as yours. They just get so excited to help you and it doesn't matter what it is. I love that when my youngest granddaughter comes to visit. She gets so excited to see all my fabric and helps me fold it when she can, although I do need to refold it again later when she's gone home, but the joy in her face while she helps me is such fun. Your little guy looks so cute hugging you while you are working at your machine.

    Great pictures! Thanks for sharing.
