BEEN SICK over here CAROL

Madame Samm makes me laugh...really, she does.

I hurt my back pretty bad 10 days ago and have stared at this everyday
since then...except when I was at the emergency room or doctor's office.
(If you don't know what it is, it's a ceiling fan that really
helps cool the room on hot summer days/nights--it's over my bed.)

I went to work today (dragged myself is a more accurate description) and
whined/cried a little a lot excessively about my discomfort. When I got home,
I sent Madame Samm a thank you email for several things, including a
wonderful little package of goodies she'd sent me.

I think she picked up on my pity party today and sent me
that adorable little girl that's up at the top of this post. She even
added the title to my post and put the picture in my post--what a woman!

Been sick...yep, I have!
But, it made me smile and I bet it makes you smile, too.

P.S. If my email responses have been incoherent, confusing, or
ridiculous, please understand that some of my meds didn't do well
with me and made me sleepy, sick enough to want to throw-up, and
somewhat delusional (more than my usual delusional self.)
I apologize if I made you think I was crazy (or crazier than normal.)

It's getting better...I'll be back making pom poms, etc. soon.

  2. I hope you are feeling better soon. Nothing worst than a bad bad. I had back surgury the year I turned 30. I couldn't walk for six weeks, litery couldn't walk. Sleep on the couch for six weeks as we then had a water bed. I also had two little boys then to look after. Thank God my mother came to stay. The day I had surgury the pain was gone. Don't have to much trouble now, thank God. So just take it easy and let it heal.

  14. I've been there. Except I couldn't lay down. Sitting in a chair pushing down on the arms was the only position that gave me relief. Loved the meds cause they made me feel better but my family was really worried about me for awhile. Hope you are ready and able to shake your pom poms! Love that Madame Samm!
