If I Could Save Time In A Bottle

Sew We Quilt's Madame Samm has a great post (HERE) about using your time productively. You need to read it to believe it. I've got my timer ready to start her challenge. Head over there and check it out!

I've had a few people ask me how I've had the time to sew for all these blog hops. I've wondered the same thing. Hmmm...I believe the word "obsession" popped up once from someone, which is probably a little bit of totally the truth. You wouldn't want to see the path of fabric scraps, thread, and little pieces of paper I leave floating behind me when I walk out of my sewing room. It isn't pretty, trust me.

To add to my state of confusion and mess, my puppies like to "steal" pieces of fabric while I'm sewing and I find them in odd places throughout my house. I still love them--how could I not love these sweet faces.
(Yes, her ears are huge)
House cleaning, laundry, cooking, etc. have not been high on my list of things to do. Luckily, I have a sweet husband who will cook, do the laundry, and drive for take-out dinners. Yep! I'm spoiled by him!

Soooo...my timer MUST come out of the box. Really, read Madame Samm's blog and you'll be digging for your timer, too.

There's a new cheerleader in our group--Cherry from Cherry Blossoms Quilting Studio has her pom poms ready for the next blog hop. Blocks in fall colored fabric will be included in this hop. Hurry over to sign-up! If you've never hopped before, you really ought to try it. They are great motivators.

I agree on what you say: bloghopping motivates, I hopped with you through the christmas blocks, and I participate in the Bowls hop, it works, you get your job done!

  3. Carol...........I wish all the bits of paper, trimmies and threads would float, then life in the sewing room might be a wonderous thing like a colored snowglobe................mine stick to me like cat hair or polyester fleece out of the dryer where "someone" (i.e. "helpful husband") has forgotten to add dryer sheets, lol!!!
And what is it with music lyrics today............first Karin had me singing the "Deep in the Heart of Texas" song all morning and you've got Jim Croce roaming around in my head!!! bwahahahaha!
